Sports Consultant joins Team Norway
By Team CSUSAHe comes to College Scholarships USA after two years as an associate for PwC, in addition to being the U19 goalkeeper coach at Norwegian Premier League club Viking FK.
– We’re delighted to have Tord join our team. In Tord, we are getting a super proactive and highly motivated individual, with just the right values at the core. Our student-athletes will be in great hands working with him, said Kim Moe Krohn, COO at College Scholarships USA.
Tord spent four years at the University of North Florida, where he was a goalkeeper for the Ospreys, competing in the Atlantic Sun Conference in NCAA D1.
He completed his bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Economics in 2018. Tord also worked as a tutor alongside his studies in subjects such as algebra, microeconomics, and macroeconomics. He graduated with a Magma Cum Laude and a GPA of 3.7. He was also a part of the “Atlantic Sun Conference Academic Honor Roll” as a student-athlete during all his years at UNF.
– I am thrilled to join the team at CSUSA. To study and play soccer in the US is the best decision I have ever made. To be able to experience the States while you’re a student-athlete is such an awesome and cool experience that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. To help young student-athletes with their college recruiting process is a true privilege, said Malde Pedersen
After completing his studies at UNF, Tord moved to Nottingham, England, where he pursued a master’s degree in Finance & Investment while playing football (soccer) for the University of Nottingham. Tord played a major role for the University of Nottingham when they for the first time in school history won the BUCS Championship. Tord was also called up to the England University National Team where he was a part of the national team that won the “Home Nations Tournament” against Wales and Scotland.
After graduation, Tord moved back to his hometown Stavanger on the west coast of Norway and started his position as an associate for PwC, as well as coaching at Viking FK.
– Stavanger is great and will always be home, but there are big things happening at CSUSA and the Keystone Education Group. This opportunity at the Oslo HQ was too good to not jump on. I am joining a great team here and really making a difference in our student’s lives, said Malde Pedersen.
– Tord is a CSUSA-alumni, as I helped him to North Florida back in the day. It is so rewarding to have followed his progression over the years and witnessing the fantastic things he has accomplished. That we’re now colleagues is just awesome, said Moe Krohn.
