Ex-US college soccer stars take centre stage – Arnold Clark Cup

Ex Women's college soccer players will compete at the Arnold Clark International Tournament

It’s never been a more exciting time for Women’s Soccer!

The stage is set for the Arnold Clark Cup round-robin tournament to take place over the next week with England, Canada, Germany and Spain competing.

As some of the top females take centre stage we will see over 25 players competing who attended Universities in the USA where they played soccer at the highest level whilst studying for a degree.

Players like Lucy Bronze (ENG), Alessia Russo (ENG), Ashley Lawrence (CAN) and Jess Fleming (CAN) to name but a few, played at schools like UCLA, West Virginia University, Duke, Clemson and the University of Michigan etc. So many players got to the USA and improve, enjoy and excel.
