We are thrilled to host another Women’s Soccer Showcase to follow up on our successful January 2019-event!

Like our previous winter showcase, this is a 2-day-event with one day in Norway and one day in Sweden. Last year we had over 100 players in Norway and Great Britain. This year we aim for 60-70 players of a higher caliber.

Our Showcase is a great way for you to evaluate players from Scandinavia in an 11v11 match – and meet in person the players you are interested in recruiting. The feedback we have received from the coaches and players who attended our previous January showcase has been very positive, both on the organization and the level of players.

The showcase will start off in Norway. We have been in touch with Scandic Hotel Lillestrøm (Norway) and have reserved a limited number of hotel rooms. These rooms will be reserved until 24th January 2020. After that, we can not guarantee there are available rooms at Scandic Hotel Lillestrøm. During this time, hotels in Lillestrøm is in high demand due to several other big events in the area. Therefore it is smart to REGISTER for the showcase prior to 24th January 2020! ARRIVAL DAY – Either Friday 14th February or Saturday 15th February

Arrival Oslo, Norway. Airport to fly into is Oslo, Gardermoen (OSL).

Showcase Norway – 15th February 2020

• 4 pm-5 pm: Pre-match meal at Scandic hotel
• 5 pm-5.30 pm: Player registration / Coaches will get player info
• 5.30 pm-6 pm: Presentation about the day & college
• 6 pm-6.30 pm: Bus to LSK-hallen from Scandic hotel
• 6.30 pm-7 pm: Warm-up players
• 7 pm -9 pm: Game 4×25 min
• 9 pm-: Mingling with players

*We will rent a bus from Norway to Sweden in the morning 16th February. Likely departure from Scandic hotel is around 8-9 am.

Showcase Sweden – 16th February 2020

• 12:30 pm-1 pm: Player registration / Coaches will get player info
• 1 pm-1:30 pm: Presentation about the day & college
• 1:30 pm-2 pm: Warm-up players
• 2 pm-4 pm: Game 4×25 min
• 4 pm-5 pm: Mingling with players

*We recommend flying into Oslo Airport Gardermoen (Norway) either the 14th February or early 15th February and then fly home from Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport (Sweden) late on the 16th of February or on the 17th of February. 

THE SCANDINAVIAN SHOWCASE PACKAGE

All coaches must purchase the Scandinavian Showcase package to attend. The fee is non-refundable.

What does it include?

• Showcase Lunch before the Showcase games start Saturday
• Transportation to and from Showcase-hotel to Showcase-venue in Lillestrøm
• Transportation from Oslo to Gothenburg
• Lunch Sunday in Gothenburg
• Food Sunday morning during transport to Gothenburg
• Discounted prices at the Showcase-hotels in Sweden and Norway
• Entry to the showcase event
• Player rosters prior to the event
• Networking with players

Price for 1 coach: $195 (+ 4% PayPal payment fee)

Price for an additional coach (from the same university): $125  (+ 4% PayPal payment fee)

Please fill in the Registration Form via THIS LINK. After registering Showcase Director Markus Fodstad will be in touch via email and you will receive an invoice to pay the fee with credit/debit card. Your attendance at the Showcase is confirmed when the fee has been paid.

Why this fee to attend? The cost to put on such an event is high in Scandinavia. We are renting the best indoor facilities in Scandinavia, have 10+ CSUSA staff members part of arranging it, professionally filmed, good refs, transportation, food, and marketing to get players there. More than half the Showcase Package fee goes towards your direct cost of food and transport. The other half helps fund the marketing needed to get the number of suitable players, our time for organizing and making the event happen.

Costs Oslo

• Single room at the hotel in Oslo costs 990 NOK (ca. $110) per night. Double room costs 1090 NOK (ca. $120) per night.
• Note! We have reserved a limited number of rooms for these prices, so make sure to book in early. First-come, first-served basis.
• Transport from Lillestrøm (OSL) airport (or OSL to Lillestrøm) to hotel ca $12.
• The cost of dinner at a restaurant in Lillestrøm will typically be around $30-$40 at regular restaurants, and of course quite a bit less at fast-food restaurants.
• No need for a rental car!

Costs Gothenburg

• Single room at the hotel in Oslo costs 750 SEK (ca. $80) per night. Double room costs 850 SEK (ca. $90) per night.
• Note! We have reserved a limited number of rooms for these prices, so make sure to book in early. First-come, first-served basis.
• The cost for breakfast and lunch at Prioritet Serneke Arena will be ca $20

CSUSA was founded in 2007 by Stewart Stanbra (England) and Kim Moe Krohn (Norway) – who both played soccer in NCAA D1 and NCAA D2 for University of South Carolina Upstate. CSUSA provides talented students and athletes the opportunity to study at American university and compete in college sports.
