Welcome to our Scandinavian Soccer Showcase!

In December, College Scholarships USA will host Europe’s largest soccer showcase for men! This is a 4-day event that will be held in superb indoor facilities in LSK-hallen in Lillestrøm (right outside Oslo, Norway) and in Rydahallen, Borås (close to Gothenburg, Sweden). Check out the video over to see what our Showcase is all about. Players have the option to play 2 days in Norway or 2 days in Sweden.

The event is an excellent opportunity to showcase your talent and skills in front of soccer coaches from American universities who want to recruit players to their teams. In addition to playing games against players from Scandinavia and the rest of Europe, this is also a great opportunity to learn more about how it is to study and play soccer in the US, about scholarships and the life of a student-athlete.

The last time we hosted our Scandinavian Showcase in December 2019 (pre-covid), more than 50 American college coaches from all the different college divisions; NCAA D1, NCAA D2, NCAA D3 and NAIA, came to our Scandinavian Soccer Showcase and many of the players in action received soccer scholarship offers after impressing the coaches. The interest is big from American coaches to recruit players in Scandinavia, so we expect a very good turnout this year.

This is also a great opportunity for CSUSA staff to evaluate your possibilities for a soccer scholarship and to see our clients in action. The players that played in CSUSA’s showcases in the past and did not receive a soccer scholarship offer from the schools that were attending, received help from us to find scholarships at other schools in the US.

The showcase is for both CSUSA clients and non-CSUSA clients. The interest for the event is very big among players and there are limited spots, so we recommend registering well in advance. Parents are welcome as supporters and to attend our college workshops that we will host during the weekend!

Showcase Agenda

Choose between playing in Norway or in Sweden.

Friday December 2nd (Lillestrom, Norway)

• Registration for players 10.00 am
• Games from 11 am from 7.00 pm
• All players will get lunch
• Teambuilding with your team and CSUSA representatives throughout the whole day!
• Dinner + mingling at the Showcase-hotel + World Cup games on TV
• There will be different presentations about college, CSUSA, and the college process throughout the whole day. Accurate scheduled times for this will be announced.

Saturday December 3rd (Lillestrom, Norway):

• Breakfast at Showcase-hotel
• Games from 8.00 am – 4.oo pm
• Lunch + teambuilding/networking  + info-workshops/presentations about college will take place in between the games for the different groups.

Sunday December 4th (Boras, Sweden)

• Registration for players 9.00 am
• Games from 10 am to 7.00 pm
• All players will get lunch
• Teambuilding with your team and CSUSA representatives throughout the whole day!
• Dinner + mingling at the Showcase-hotel + World Cup games on TV
• There will be different presentations about college, CSUSA, and the college process throughout the whole day. Accurate scheduled times for this will be announced.

Monday December 5th (Boras, Sweden):

• Breakfast at Showcase-hotel
• Games from 8.00 am – 12.3o pm
• All players will get lunch
• Teambuilding with your team and CSUSA representatives / coaches.

Showcase-Info

• Where: LSK Hallen in Lillestrøm, Norway (MAP) and Rydavallen, Borås, Sweden (MAP)
• When: Friday December 2nd and Saturday December 3rd (Lillestrøm, Norway) OR Sunday 4th of December and Monday 5th of December (Borås, Sweden).
• Who: boys aged 16-20
• Due date for registration: ongoing – click HERE to register.

NOTE! Limited amount of spots, recommend signing up early. Our Showcase Director / Sports Consultants will consecutively offer spots to players that have registered.

When registering, choose the location you prefer (either Norway or Sweden). It is important that all players that have been offered a spot can play two days in either Norway or Sweden.

Practical Info

You will be notified by email when you are offered a spot in the Showcase from our Showcase Director, and will receive more practical information about your participation. You will be sent a final and more detailed plan for the specific days you will play when the teams are set, in addition to an overview of all the coaches from the US that will be there.

Do not book your travel until you get the go-ahead from the Showcase Director.

The showcase package with pricing for the participants, including info on the player hotel and meals, will be sent out to the selected players after the summer, when this is set.

Our Showcase is a part of the International Alliance Showcase Tour where coaches visit Showcases in other European countries, in addition to our Scandinavian Showcase.
