NCAA D1 Soccer Scholarship Athlete joins Team CSUSA
By Team CSUSAJeppe Hæhre joins Team CSUSA after earning both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. He was a student-athlete for five years.
– I have personally helped both Jeppe and his brother Daniel with their college recruitment process, so I’ve known him and his family for a long time. That I am delighted to bring Jeppe into our team is an understatement. I know he will hit the ground running and fit in perfectly here. He is a “culture guy” with great values. He is a competitor, yet humble and always hungry to learn. He comes from a high-paced NCAA D1 student-athlete career from a great school, and is used to being structured and juggling a lot of balls at the same time, which is key to doing well as a Sports Consultant with us, said Kim Moe Krohn, COO at College Scholarships USA.
Jeppe will work out of the Oslo HQ as part of Team Norway and will focus primarily on assisting our men’s and women’s soccer players.
“The Jeppe Hæhre File”
Jeppe’s college career began at Quinnipiac University in 2016. The school competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference in NCAA D1. In his first season, Quinnipiac won the MAAC regular season with Jeppe selected as a First-Team All-MAAC and a 43rd place on the top 100 freshmen list by Top Drawer Soccer. During his remaining time at Quinnipiac, Jeppe tallied another first-team All-MAAC, second-team All-East region and MAAC All-Academic. He was also team captain.
In 2020, Jeppe earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Sports Studies and continued with getting his master’s degree in Public Relations from Quinnipiac.
– The opportunity to play the sport I love daily at an elite level, earn a degree and meet people from unfamiliar cultures was too good not to pursue. It became an incredible learning experience for me, where I grew as a person and created friendships that’ll cherish for the rest of my life. America’s love for sport is inspiring and creates endless opportunities for those who take advantage. Through CSUSA, Quinnipiac University gave me the best and most transformative 5 years of my life and I am thrilled to now start working with helping young athletes get the chance to go on this amazing journey, said Hæhre.
